LIVESTOCK ASIA 2007: VENUE CHANGED TO THE NEW KUALA LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE
Asia’s International Feed, Livestock and Meat Industry Show - Livestock Asia 2007 Expo & Forum will be moved to the new prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from its original venue at MIECC, Mines Resort City. The date of event remains unchanged from 23rd to 25th October 2007. The change of venue is necessary as the MIECC will no longer operates as an exhibition venue from 2007.
The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre offers the advantages of a downtown location ( next to the Petronas Twin Towers ) and is equipped with state-of-art facilities. In addition, it is nearby many good hotels and is easily accessible by the LRT Trains.
“ Ultimately, exhibitors, visitors and delegates attending Livestock Asia 2007 will be the ones who will benefit the most from the change of venue as they can look forward to a modern exhibition centre with the advantages of a central location ” according to Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Ahmad Mustaffa, President of AMB Exhibitions. “ In line with the higher costs of the new venue, there will be an increase in booth costs. However, as a show of appreciation to our previous exhibitors, we have extended our rebook programme to them at the old price. We hope that they will take advantage of this opportunity to lock in their location. ”
“ From the response so far, Livestock Asia 2007 Expo & Forum looks set to exceed in the number exhibitors and visitors. More importantly, the trend suggests that LIVESTOCK ASIA 2007 will attract even greater number of delegations from outside Southeast Asia such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Middle East. ”
